Subject: An interesting slice of aquarium history
Subject: An interesting slice of aquarium history
Like the title says-- it's an interesting look at the early stages of home aquaria. Experience fishkeepers will get a kick out of the more, ah, outdated advice. Even if you aren't into home aquaria, you might get a kick out of the overly poetic descriptions of various critters. At one point he goes on about a rather pedestrian species of sea anenome for about four pages. Just don't try to follow his stocking suggestions-- it will end in absolute disaster.
